Hopscotch Technology is a small company at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder, Colorado. We make BOB.
At Hopscotch we love TV, we love video games, and we love computers - so why “limit” these things that we love?
Because too much of a good thing is simply too much! The average American child sits in front of a TV or computer screen 3-5 hours a day, every day. Bring that time down to 2 hours per day, and you've just given your son/daughter up to 1000 extra hours of childhood each year.
One thousand more hours of being a kid! Seems like a
no-brainer to us.
And what will they do with all that extra time? They will do just what you did as a child—play hide-and-seek, ride their bikes, enjoy family game-night, write in a journal, play sports, play Hopscotch.
That's why we at Hopscotch say, “Kids should be kids!”
